Members
are executives or professionals in a recognized business,
institution or profession working at least 50 percent of
a normal week and willing to support the objects of Zonta.
A member's
classification is based on occupation. Zonta's classification
system consists of hundreds of occupations. The classification
system is based on an international standard used by every
country in the world to classify occupations in their population
census and a composite of many country lists.
Membership
Responsibilities
Applications are reviewed by committee based on Zonta's
eligibility requirements. The membership committee then
forwards the application for review and approval at the
next monthly board meeting. If no member protests or questions
